Dear wild things,
I am hosting a series at Cake Shop called Raise the Beast! My new years resolution was to grow a tail, so here we go!
This is the first beast of the series which will continue into this new year on the first sunday of the month.
Sunday, February 3rd:
8pm Phoebe Novak - the first time I heard this woman's voice my ears hooked right up to her heart and fell in love. Blue hair and lusty eyes, original lyrics, who could ask for more?
9pm Yes William - My band takes the stage to rile you up and treat the beast like a queen.
10pm Larkin Grimm - If you haven't seen Larkin Grimm yet, be prepared to see the rarest of species. She is part woman and part mountain. Larkin reaches the depths of an aching soul to a degree few musicians do.
11pm Fair Marie- The new duo from Chris Faroe and Emily Einhorn (me) celebrating the end of times, buffalo, and guilty parasites.
