Police Use Tear Gas on WMU Students Tipping Ice Cream Truck
According to Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety Lt. Douglas Geurink, this year’s “HouseCrawl” at Western Michigan University saw 21 people arrested and 46 received a Minor in possession (MIP).
Police eventually resorted to tear gas to clear the scene.
“Nobody kind of realized what was going on and all of a sudden comes this wall of riot police spraying Mace and tear gas,” Western Michigan student Kevin Wordelman told Grand Rapids television station WOOD-TV.
When police first arrived, they were unequipped to deal with the situation. The officers were forced to return in riot gear and use tear gas to clear the area.
Check out the video, unless you’re prone to seizures…they use a weird shaking effect way TOO MUCH.
