University of California-Santa Cruz (UCSC) Banana Slugs | Top Party Schools Review
University of California – Santa Cruz
Santa Cruz, CA
The greek system at UCSC exists, but it isn’t the life-blood of the campus social scene. When you’re looking for a party at UC Santa Cruz, therearecertainlya few places downtown where you can find a good deal on drinks. On the downside, if you’re under 21, expect to have more nights where you’re just chilling out with friends. During the week there isn’t much to do, but the weekend changes things up significantly. The students at UCSC blaze pretty hard, as the video below might suggest. There are house parties, as wellasoutdoor parties (thanks West Coast weather). Take advantage of the nearby beaches…you’rein Cali dummy! UCSC is a Division III school, athletics do not play a major role in the nightlife here.
