Lincoln Center series dedicated to the works of Mozart (July – August).
4Knots Music Festival
Sponsored by the Village Voice, the 4Knots Music Festival, which starts at the end of June, features indie-rock music at South Street Seaport.
June, July, and August bring free concerts to many of New York City’s neighborhood parks.
Free concerts on Pier 84 in Hudson River Park in July and August. Only three dates scheduled!

On Friday evenings starting in June, you can hear great music from local NYC artists on Pier 45 in Hudson River Park.

Free Wednesday evening concerts in Bryant Park featuring New York area jazz musicians and singer-songwriters.

Free concerts on Wednesday nights at 7 pm, starts in June.
Blue Note Jazz Festival
This city-wide Jazz festival is being put together around the city throughout the entire month of June.
Rythmn & Blues Festival at Metrotech Free!
On Thursdays starting in June from noon – 2 pm see great R&B performances in Brooklyn.
Charlie Parker Jazz Festival Free!
From August 23-25, 2013 experience the Charlie Parker Jazz Festival in two Manhattan parks where Parker lived and worked.
Live on Pier 26
Catch popular acts at the waterfront concert series on Pier 26 in Hudson River Park in Tribeca. Admission to these concerts requires tickets.
Harlem Meer Performance Festival (June)
Jazz, Blues, Gospel, and Latin music every Sunday afternoon from 2-4 p.m. at the Harlem Meer in Central Park on Sundays.
Summer in the Square
Thursdays, from mid-June to mid-August, Union Square host free lunchtime concerts, yoga classes, and evening performances.
Summer Garden Concerts
Flushing Town Hall hosts an eclectic concert series Sunday afternoons in July -August. Be sure to check the schedule, which can be just as eclectic!
